Parameswaran serves as plenary speaker on media decolonization
Associate dean Radhika Parameswaran spoke as a panelist at one of the plenary sessions at the International Association for Media and Communication Research conference, held July 11-15.
Her recorded session, “Decolonizing Communication,” was made available virtually on July 14 for participants in the main conference.
Parameswaran also joined a synchronous Zoom session for the conference hosted by the University of Hyderabad’s Department of Communication on July 14, where she elaborated on her presentation and responded to audience questions.
The conference was hosted by the Department of Journalism and Corporate Communication of the United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, Kenya.
