Myszak wins Indiana College Photographer of the Year contest for second year in a row
Two IU students won awards in the Indiana News Photographers Association’s annual photography competition this weekend.
Senior Izzy Myszak was selected as College Photographer of the Year for the second year in a row.
“I am proud of Izzy and pleased that the INPA has recognized her contributions to journalism,” said Jim Kelly, photojournalism professor and director of the journalism program. “She is a leader of student journalism on the IU campus — as IDS editor, Arbutus editor and now as College Photographer of the Year. She joins a long line of IU journalism students who have been similarly recognized over the years, but few have won the honor twice.”
