Michael Uslan’s ‘The Boy Who Loved Batman’ adapted into a play to premiere this fall

Michael Uslan – BA’73, MS’75, JD’76, Media School professor of practice, and executive producer of the Batman movie franchise – is adapting his memoir, “The Boy Who Loved Batman,” into a play.
The Broadway-bound play is a comedy-drama following Uslan’s life from Ocean Township, New Jersey, to Indiana University to New York, and Hollywood. Produced by Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, the play is 90 minutes with no intermission.
It is scheduled to premiere in Tampa at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. A soft open will be held on Oct. 1 and a more formal opening on Oct. 4. The play will continue running through Nov. 10. Uslan will be in attendance for select performances.
