Media School students selected for Final Four internship
Media School students Nicole Krasean, Ben Wittenstein and Mitchel Fee have been selected to work as production runners for CBS Sports during the Final Four, the last games of the NCAA basketball tournament.
They will be in Phoenix, Arizona, March 27 to April 4 working on shows for CBS/Turner and CBS Sports Network. The men’s Final Four games are April 1, and the National Championship game is April 3.
The students’ tasks will include working with crews on the floor during games, driving personnel around to various venues and locations and providing general help to the week’s productions. The students will be compensated for their 10-hour days in Phoenix.
The three applied for the slots last month.
The school’s director of facilities and technology, Jay Kincaid, will serve as a director for the network during the tournament. An Emmy Award-winning director, Kincaid works on a freelance basis for sports broadcasts such as MLB Tonight for the Major League Baseball Network, an NFL pre-game show for the CBS Sports Network, and other studio coverage for CBS such as the Super Bowl.
