Lee paper looks at social media preferences

Associate professor Jae Kook Lee’s paper on people’s preferences for different types of social media has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media.
“Social Media Type Matters: Investigating the Relationship Between Motivation and Online Social Network Heterogeneity,” looks at a national survey that determined that people are more motivated to use “symmetrical” social media versus “asymmetrical” types.
Doctoral student Cheonsoo Kim is co-author of the paper.
