Lang co-authors book on social stigma
Distinguished professor Annie Lang is co-author of the book Ending Discrimination Against People With Mental and Substance Use Disorders: The Evidence for Stigma Change.
The book was published by the National Academies of Science in April. It covers stigma-related research and discusses the best practices in communication science to combat stigma against mental or substance use disorders.
Lang wrote this book as a member of the committee on the science of changing behavioral health social norms of the National Academies of Science. Her co-authors are the 10 other committee members.
