Kincaid wins Emmy for MLB Tonight
Jay Kincaid, director of facilities and technology at The Media School, has won a Sports Emmy Award for his work on the show MLB Tonight on the Major League Baseball Network. The award ceremony was May 10 at Jazz Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
Kincaid and the directorial staff of MLB Tonight won the award for Outstanding Studio Show, Daily, for the second consecutive year. MLB Tonight has won this Emmy five times since 2008, and this award is Kincaid’s 10th national Emmy.
Kincaid has worked at WTIU since 1999 and won several Emmy Awards for his direction of network coverage of the Olympic Games. In addition to his duties at the school, Kincaid is a freelancer for several broadcast productions, including MLB Tonight and others.
