Johnson visits Wolf Creek Habitat in documentary aired on ‘Journey Indiana’
Master’s student Brian Johnson’s first documentary, “Howl Y’all Doing? A Visit to Wolf Creek Habitat and Sanctuary,” aired on episode 606 of WTIU’s “Journey Indiana” on Sept. 20.
“Journey Indiana” features documentaries that explore culture, history, people, and artistry all across the state. Hosts Ashley Chilla and Brandon Wentz travel to new destinations and communities each week.
Johnson’s documentary visits Wolf Creek Habitat and follows “Mama Wolf” Kathy Baudendistile, the owner and operator of the sanctuary. She discusses her story and how she came to be dedicated to the preservation of wolves while introducing viewers to some of the animals living there. The sanctuary is home to wolves, foxes, eagles, and other wildlife.
Johnson produced the documentary, and videography was done in collaboration with fellow Media School master’s student and associate instructor Abi Yates.
