HSJI, Game Development Camp move online
Both the High School Journalism Institute and the Game Development Camp will operate virtually this summer.
Despite restrictions from the coronavirus pandemic, both programs have adapted to a new format.
High School Journalism Institute
Sessions will begin June 29 and end July 17.
The programs will be a combination of workshop activities completed independently and live group discussion. Sessions will include visual storytelling, writing and reporting, yearbook and leadership/staff management.
Register by June 22.
Game Development Camp
The program will run July 20-24.
The structure will be similar to previous years — students will participate in ice breakers, micro-talks, game playing, tech tutorials, small-group critiques and guest talks.
There will be a morning and an afternoon session each day, and students will still be encouraged to eat lunch together.
Register by June 29.
