Conway to become AJHA president at 2022 conference
Professor Mike Conway will become president of the American Journalism Historians Association at the end of the month.
Conway will transition from first vice president to president at the organization’s annual conference Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Memphis, Tennessee.
The leadership role is a four-year elected position, from Conway’s election in 2019 to subsequent growth from second vice president to first vice president to president. He will serve as president until the end of the 2023 AJHA conference.
AHJA is one of the oldest organizations in the United States dedicated to journalism and media history.
