Brown wins Dissertation Completion Fellowship
Doctoral candidate Logan Brown was awarded the College of Arts and Sciences’ Dissertation Completion Fellowship.
Brown studies the relationship between video games and culture. His dissertation is titled “The Mythical Mass Market: The Formation of the American Mobile Game Industry 1997-2008.”
“Brown has done impressive work to date on a project that is interdisciplinary and likely highly impactful in establishing an historically accurate record of the antecedents to a form of media technology used daily by millions,” said Professor Rob Potter, director of graduate studies in The Media School.
