Veteran Chicago journalist Monroe Anderson, BA’71, and recently retired NBC director Stephen Lucas, BA’80, will speak about their careers in a Q&A moderated by visiting senior lecturer Cheryl Owsley-Jackson.
Anderson worked for some of America’s best-known media corporations including Dow Jones, Johnson Publishing Co., the Tribune Co., Post-Newsweek and Viacom, and he also served as press secretary for the mayor of Chicago.
Lucas is an Emmy Award-winning director who retired in 2019 after nearly 40 years of working in the television news industry.
