Neither Memory Nor Magic
Associate professor Joan Hawkins will moderate a post-film screening discussion and Q&A session with writer and director Hugo Perez.
“Neither Memory Nor Magic” uses the final poems of Miklós Radnóti, a Hungarian poet shot to death by fascists in 1944, to tell his story. Radnóti’s notebook, filled with the poems of his final months, was found with his body in a mass grave uncovered 18 months after his death.
This IU Cinema event is free and not ticketed.
