Ken and Florence Jacobs lecture
Ken Jacobs is an experimental filmmaker who helped spearhead the American avant-garde film movement.
The lecture is part of the IU Cinema’s Jorgensen Guest Filmmaker Series and its film series “Ken Jacobs: Little Stabs at Happiness,” curated by Media School graduate students Matt Lutz, I-Lin Liu, Ruth Riftin, Pragya Ghosh, Richard Jermain, Anthony Silvestri and Joseph Wofford; Media School associate professor Joan Hawkins; and Moving Image Archive film digitization specialist Carmel Curtis. The series is co-sponsored by The Media School and its Center for Documentary Research and Practice.
