“Jezebel” screening
“Jezebel” (2019) is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story set in Las Vegas in 1998. The protagonist, Tiffany, navigates her career as a cam girl while living in a studio apartment with five family members.
The screening is part of the Numa Perrier: The Politics of Pleasure series, curated in partnership with Media School associate professor Terri Francis, director of The Media School’s Black Film Center/Archive. Perrier will give an extended on-stage interview at the IU Cinema on Sept. 24.
The screening is free, but ticketed.
