“Fados” screening
“Fados” (2007) explores the Portuguese musical genre fado and its ties to African and Brazilian culture. The audience experiences fado through a series of scenes in which faudistas – singers of fado – share their art.
The screening is part of the Music Films series, curated by Media School associate professor Marissa Moorman.
The event is free, but ticketed.
The Media School’s Black Film Center/Archive is an event co-sponsor.
