Text: The Rock & Mineral Show.
Voiceovr: In town today with their latest hit, the Rock and Mineral Rock and Roll Show. These four youngsters, bring just enough bite and charm to excite just about anybody. And here they are arriving downtown just this morning.
A closeup of Jet.
Voiceover: Here we see Jet, the lead man. Watch out ladies.
Opal takes a drag on a cigarette.
Voicover: Opal, the rhythm player. She’s a funny one.
Ruby sticks her tongue out at the camera.
Voicover: Ruby, the bassist, she’s a bit of a punk rocker.
Blue John loses his shades to see bottle caps in front of his eyes. Voiceover: And Blue John, the drummer, everyone’s favorite jokester.
People cross the street carrying instruments and gear.
Voicover: And here are the three roadies. Here we see them carrying the instruments from the van to the venue, making sure they get there safe and sound.
The quartet goofs off in the alleyway.
Voicover: The band has little fun before the show tonight. It’s not all business on a day like today. Here’s Blue John having some fun. He better be careful, he’ll need those drumsticks tonight.
Interior of venue is seen.
Voiceover: Moving to the venue, the roadies set up the stage for the performance tonight. They set up the mikes, run cables, provide power to the amps, checking the intricate knobs and buttons, making sure the sound is just right. Now let’s set up the drums. Placing down the bass drum, the snares, the high-hats, and the cymbals. And now onto the final step, setting up the amp head, a device that controls the sound levels that affects during the performance. Now it’s time for rehearsal.
Blue John sits at his drum set.
Voiceoverr: Blue John takes a seat at his drum kit, making sure that everything is set to his liking. And here we see Jet coming in setting his mike to the correct height and plugging in his guitar for rehearsal. Jet’s all ready.
Ruby is seen adjusting her guitar on stage.
Voiceover: Ruby has just come into play, playing with the bass and adjusting the tone knob on the body of her Hofner. Opal is here too making sure that her guitar is turned all the way up before talking to Jet. Ruby tunes her bass for rehearsal. Blue John is cracking jokes as always. Jet and Opal rehearsed their numbers together running through the set list for tonight’s performance. And before you know it, rehearsal is over and the show was set to begin.
The band plays a punk-rock-esque song.
