Biography
I am a Ph.D. student dual major in Communication Science and Cognitive Science. I earned my B.A. in International Communications from the University of Nottingham and M.A. in Media Studies from Syracuse University. Before coming to Bloomington, I was a user experience researcher in Shanghai. My research interest generally lies in the intersection of emerging media technologies, human-computer interaction (HCI), and cognitive science. Recently, I am focusing on information processing when people use interactive media. Specifically, I want to explore how interactivity and immersion impact emotion, attention, and memory when people use media technologies. My research utilizes psychophysiology measures and computational modeling.
