Biography
Yejin Lee is a PhD student at Indiana University Bloomington Campus. She earned a master’s degree in Media Communication from Seoul National University, and in her master’s thesis she studied the impact of financial support from local governments on local newspapers in South Korea.
Her research focuses on identifying the policy and institutional conditions under which financial support can increase the public’s trust in the news. She is also interested in conceptualizing the relationship between politicians and journalists.
