Biography
Heather Packo develops strategic engagement opportunities that connect The Media School with academic, industry, and community partners. As Assistant Dean of External Partnerships, she leads initiatives that bring together students, faculty, alumni, and a wide range of corporate, industry, and community collaborators through innovative partnerships and high-impact engagement.
An Indiana University alum, Heather began her career in media and entertainment with Sony Music Entertainment. She later earned her MA in Higher Education & Student Affairs from The Ohio State University and has since held leadership roles at institutions including Northwestern and DePaul University, bringing extensive experience in higher education administration, external relations, and strategic partnership development to The Media School.
Now back in Bloomington, Heather is energized by the chance to support student success and explore new avenues for programs and partnerships that position the school and its community as leaders in the media space.
