Biography
Musa Hasan is a graduate student in the Media School, working towards an MA degree in Media Arts and Sciences with a focus in Cinema and Media Studies. His research work deals largely with film as a colonial artefact and the ways in which colonial ideology was constructed and understood through cinema. Particularly, he is working on the colonial history of cinema in South Asia and the lasting impacts of Empire film in the region.
