IU Big Ten Network StudentU documentary wins SVG College Sports Media Award
The IU Big Ten Network StudentU documentary won the 2026 SVG College Sports Media Award for Outstanding Special Feature. This national recognition highlights a strong collaborative effort across multiple departments and organizations in support of the StudentU program, which is operated in partnership with IU Athletics, the Big Ten Network, and Cream & Crimson Studios.
Justin Crossley, live productions manager, and John Timm, associate producer, oversaw the project with a team who brought the award-winning production to life.
The awards are sponsored by the Sports Video Group in association with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. The winners were selected by a panel of judges and announced at the 18th-annual SVG College Sports Media Awards hosted by ESPN’s Ryan McGee at the SVG College Summit on May 27.
