‘Cascade’ takes top Montage awards

The Cinema Academy’s student showcase, Montage Film Festival: A Celebration of Moving Pictures, celebrated top student films on April 17 at the IU Cinema.
The film festival showcased 12 student-produced short films, lasting a total of 90 minutes. Films were judged by a panel of IU alumni and members of the Student Cinema Guild, a student organization dedicated to producing and enjoying film. Awards were distributed during a ceremony following the screenings.
The event is a collaboration between The Media School and IU Cinema.
