3 Media School students win 2026 Senior Recognition Awards
Three seniors from The Media School — Tsehai Bean, Francisco Cáceres, and Ally Wolfgang — have been honored with Senior Recognition Awards.
The Senior Recognition Awards, presented by the Office of Student Life, honor outstanding IU Bloomington seniors for scholarship, leadership, and service during their undergraduate careers. Featured awards include the Herman B Wells Award, the Elvis J. Stahr Award, the Kate Hevner Mueller Award, and the Student Employee Award.
Bean and Cáceres received the Kate Hevner Mueller Award, which recognizes exceptional leaders on campus both inside and outside of the classroom and who have improved the IU community by their presence. Bean is majoring in creative advertising and minoring in entrepreneurship and small business management. Cáceres is majoring in journalism with a concentration in public relations and in Spanish, and is minoring in marketing.
Wolfgang received the Student Employee Award, which recognizes an outstanding senior student employee on the IU Bloomington campus who has demonstrated exceptional leadership while employed by the university. Wolfgang is majoring in media management, law and policy, and political science.
The students will be recognized at the annual Brunch Awards event on April 18 in Alumni Hall at the Indiana Memorial Union.
