You Don’t Get a Choice video game
In teaching professor Norbert Herber’s Game Art and Sound class, Jacob Lee created You Don’t Get a Choice, a short narrative-focused game about being alive. During the course, students had weekly assignments that challenged them to add new or additional visual art (backgrounds, characters, animations) and audio assets (music, sound effects) to create an original 2D platformer game.
In Lee’s game, players control the movements of a man who has woken in a barren wasteland with no recollection of his past. Guided by a strange voice echoing through his mind, he must collect memorabilia to avoid losing hope for remembering who he is.
You Don’t Get a Choice can be played through Lee’s Itch.io page.
