Rosemary Pennington is the area coordinator of Miami University's journalism program. She is an associate professor in the Department of Media, Journalism and Film. Pennington recently published a book *Statistics Behind the Headlines* with a statistics colleague. In addition, Pennington is celebrating the 10th year of the Stats+Stories podcast with the 250th episode soon to be released. This podcast addresses the "statistics behind the stories and the stories behind the statistics" and previouslywon a prestigious math communication award. (December 2022)
