Cory Barker is an assistant professor of communication at Bradley University, where he teaches classes on journalism and new media. His research focuses on the intersections between "old" and "new" media, and he is author of, The Age of Netflix: Critical Essays on Streaming Media, Digital Delivery, and Instant Access (McFarland, 2017). As a journalist, his work as appeared in “The A.V. Club”, “Complex”, “TV Guide”, and “Vox”. (January 2019)
