Nick Hollkamp was part of a team at The Courier Journal that won the Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News Reporting for 2020. The CJ won for its rapid-fire analysis of pardons issued by Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin in his last days in office. Hollkamp is the breaking news editor at Louisville newspaper. He has held various editing roles in his 23 years there, including metro editor, Indiana editor and politics editor. He started as a copy editor. (November 2020)
