Doug Haddix has been named executive director of Investigative Reporters and Editors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of investigative reporting. Haddix, director of the Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism at Ohio State University, previously was a training director for the organization. In his new position, he will oversee all of IRE’s programs. (December 2016)
