Douglas Wolverton died June 2, 2022, at age 61. 

Wolverton was a producer at WXVW radio station and had a 50-year association with the radio industry that started with a neighborhood radio station at age 10.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from IU and his master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Regent University.
