David Reed died May 14, 2021, at age 73.

Reed served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps after graduating high school. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in radio/television and journalism from IU and worked in television news. 

Reed is survived by his wife Clarine, son Zachary, his brother Michael R. Reed (Susan), niece Kathleen Anne Micheli (Phillip) and sister Marsha Reed Nall.
