Cecil Tresslar died Nov. 16, 2023. He taught English and journalism at Arsenal Technical High School from 1957-1992, where he also held several roles within the school's publishing department. He served as the director of publishing at the school for a time. Tresslar had a passion for poetry and was a member of the Poetry Society of Indiana, receiving several awards. He was named the State of Indiana Premier Poet from fall 2010 to fall 2013. (November 2023)
