Jo Anne Burr passed away March 30, 2020. 

After graduating from IU with a degree in journalism, Burr became a field director and public relations director for the Camp Fire Girls in Indianapolis. Her family moved to Pasadena, California, where she became an assistant in the Volunteer Bureau, and she continued her work with the Camp Fire Girls. Burr was involved with the Cub Scouts as a Den Mother and help developed a program connecting Pasadena businesses with the Pasadena Unified School District. (May 2024)
