Wounded Galaxies to present panel on international culture

Wounded Galaxies 1968: Beneath the Paving Stones, the Beach Festival and Symposium is a festival of experimental media and academic symposium that will take place Feb. 6-11 on IU’s campus.

Wounded Galaxies will present a panel on international culture at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 10 in room 1060 of the School of Global and International Studies building. Panelists include:

  • Eric Zobel (IU Bloomington): “‘i.e. the end of an era:’ Elephant Steps, an Avant-garde Addendum”
  • David Andrews (University of Minnesota): “Stefan Themerson On A Time-Chart”
  • Brianna Smith (University of Iowa): “Life is Serious, Art is Carefree: Artistic Avant-gardes and Everyday Life in Divided Berlin (After ’68)”
  • Sami Siegelbaum (University of California Irvine): “Grapus and the Re-branding of Communism after 1968″
