Wounded Galaxies to present panel, “Italy’s Long ’68 and its Continuing Legacy”

Wounded Galaxies 1968: Beneath the Paving Stones, the Beach Festival and Symposium is a festival of experimental media and academic symposium that will take place Feb. 6-11 on IU’s campus.

Wounded Galaxies will present a panel, “Italy’s Long ’68 and its Continuing Legacy,” at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at the IU Cinema. Panelists include:

  • Giuseppina Mecchia (University of Pittsburgh): “Don’t’ Stay Calm and Carry on: Badiou’s “Fidelity and The Living Legacies of 1968”
  • Timothy Murphy (Oklahoma State University): “Someone Else’s ’68”
  • Anna Chichi (City University of New York Graduate Center): “Post 1968 Generation in Italy: The Years of Lead and the ‘Inorganic Intellectual”
