A series of short films curated by Bradford Nordeen will be screened at 7 p.m. Monday, April 23 at the IU Cinema. The films and corresponding talks are part of the Queer Disorientations series, which looks at questions of gender and sexuality in new and challenging ways.

Nordeen will give a talk at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, in the Franklin Hall commons. “Curating Dirty Looks and Presenting the Queer Cinematic Avant-Garde” will discuss Nordeen’s decade of work in curation and publishing.

At 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, the IU Moving Image Archive will host the “Home Movies” short program.

Co-sponsors include The Media School, Cinema and Media Studies, the Center for Documentary Research and Practice and the IU Cinema.

Media School professor Ryan Powell helped organize the series.
