Kartemquin Films: Past, Present, and Future

Visible Evidence XXV, an international conference on documentary film and media, is Aug. 8-11 at IU Bloomington.

Visible Evidence presents, “Kartemquin Films: Past, Present, and Future,” at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 9 at the IU Cinema. Kartemquin Films, a nonprofit collaborative community of documentary filmmakers and producers, will showcase a range of the community’s work. Filmmakers Gordon Quinn, Tim Horsburgh, Anuradha Rana, Bing Liu and Ashley O’Shay are scheduled to be present.

The event is free, but ticketed.

Conference hosts include the Center for Documentary Research and Practice, The Media School, its Cinema and Media Studies unit and the Black Film Center/Archive, among others.
