Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial

Spend fall break volunteering with the National Park Service creating a living history program at the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial.

The program costs $25. This covers transportation to and from Lincoln City, lodging and all required activities.

Project details

Abraham Lincoln’s mother, Nancy, died Oct. 5, 1818, and this program will commemorate the bicentennial of her death. Students will film a living history program, working in pairs to produce three stories. 

If accepted, you will be required to participate in preparatory meetings and complete preparatory work.
