Research and Creative InterestsEmotions and Media, Dynamic Systems Theory, Embodied Cognition,
I am a PhD candidate in the Media School. My area of research interest is to apply the dynamic systems theory and embodied cognition approach to study human communication. In general, I am interested in over-time changes of physiology, emotional experiences, and behavior with respect to video viewing and game playing. I am particularly interested in dynamics of physiological and behavioral synchrony as a function of different types of interactions (mediated and non-mediated). I am also interested in nonlinear dynamic analysis and modeling.
