The poster focuses on two studies: one concerning the appearance of female characters in games as perceived by female players, and one that examines the role of female character sexualization under varied conditions.

Associate professor Nicole Martins assisted with experimental design and data analysis on the project.

The Games User Research Summit takes place during the Game Developers Conference. Tompkins will attend the conference as a winner of an all-access conference pass from Xbox Women in Gaming. Several Media School students and faculty will also attend.
