Michael Schultz to teach film workshop Nov. 9

Filmmaker Michael Schultz will teach an expert workshop, “Why We Make Movies: An Expert Workshop with Michael Schultz” at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in Radio-TV Building Studio 5. 

Schultz directed 12 feature films between 1970 and 1990. He’s also worked extensively in television, lending his directing hand for episodes of popular series such as Black-ish, The O.C. and Arrow, as well as made-for-TV movies.

The workshop is hosted by The Media School, the Black Film/Center Archive and the IU Cinema. RSVPs are required.
