Learn how to join a Media School service project that creates media projects that honor the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at an information session Nov. 7.

Stories of Peace is an annual co-curricular program that partners students with local nonprofit organizations to tell positive stories from the Bloomington community. The project kicks off on Martin Luther King Jr. Day with an opening reception at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater and concludes 40 days later with a closing reception and public screening of completed media projects.

The information session is at 6 p.m. in Franklin Hall 114.

Last year’s students created videos with Harmony Middle School, the Lotus Education and Arts Foundation, My Sister’s Closet and Rogers Elementary School.
