Help with school events and programs as a Media School Ambassador during the next academic year.

The program is accepting applications through April 9 for the next class of ambassadors, students who serve as the face of school in a variety of settings. They staff Speaker Series events, which bring in renowned media professionals such as Radio Lab’s Jad Abumrad, author and journalist Ta-Nehishi Coates and NPR’s Asma Khalid. They also meet with prospective students to share their experiences and assist with events for alumni and the public.

Besides special access to the top media professionals and alumni, ambassadors travel to Chicago each January or February to visit media outlets. This year, the group visited the Chicago Tribune, The Associated Press, WGN-TV, the Big Ten Network, Chicago magazine, CBS Sports Radio, the Mode Project, Starcom Mediavest and Centro.
