Journalist Jiayang Fan will lecture about “Perception and Reality: In Search of Chinese Identity in the Age of Trump and Lamborghinis,” at 6 p.m. March 1 in the Global and International Studies Building Auditorium
Fan, a New Yorker magazine staffer who writes on China, American politics and culture, is a guest of IU’s campus-wide China Remixed festival.
Fan also is a contributor to The New York Times Book Review, Slate, The Paris Review and The L.A. Review of Books, among other publications.
The talk is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
