The Center of Excellence for Women in Technology’s game design special interest group is hosting a demonstration of The Media School’s motion capture technology from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Franklin Hall commons.

Motion capture is the process of recording people’s actions and using the recording to animate digital characters in film and games. Lecturer Richard Swope will conduct the demonstration.
