Northwestern University professor Brian T. Edwards will speak about “Trump, Twitter, Circulation: American Politics as Global Entertainment” at 4 p.m. April 20 at the Global and International Studies Building 1112. The Media School is co-sponsoring.
At Northwestern University, Edwards is Crown Professor in Middle East Studies, professor of English and comparative literary studies and director of the Middle East and North African Studies program.
Edwards’ talk will discuss the impact that President Trump’s political rhetoric had during the 2016 presidential campaign on the Middle East and North Africa.
The event is open and free to the public.
