Dow Jones News Fund internship tests offered in Franklin Hall

The Dow Jones News Fund offers internships in multi-platform editing, data journalism, digital media and business reporting at media organizations across the country. These internships are open to juniors, seniors and graduate students.

To apply, students must fill out the online application by Nov. 1 and take a test. 

The Media School will offer proctored tests at 9 a.m. and noon Oct. 26 in Franklin Hall 003. Applicants should choose one test session and sign up.

Indiana Daily Student adviser Ruth Witmer will hold an optional preparation session at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in Franklin Hall 114. 

DJNF’s 50 media partners include local, regional and national newspapers; digital niche publications; and online news platforms. IU’s most recent Dow Jones interns, Jamie Zega, BAJ’18, and Patrick Wisdom, BAJ’18, were placed at The New York Times in 2017.
