Courtney Cronin, BAJ’12, visits to discuss multimedia sports

Bay Area News reporter Courtney Cronin, BAJ’12, will visit campus April 4-5 to talk to classes and to speak with students.

Cronin is an award-winning multimedia sports reporter who has covered the Warriors, Giants, 49ers and Raiders, among others. She works in several media, including video and print, and social media, where the posts video and blogs to Snapchat and Facebook Live, among others, to engage her audience.

Wednesday, she will meet with students in Introduction to Sports Media and Sportscasting classes to assist with on-camera work. She’ll have dinner with sports media students.

Thursday, she will tour Franklin Hall and the Mark Cuban Center. At 4 p.m. she’ll give a public talk in the Franklin Hall commons.

Assistant professor Galen Clavio is organizing the visit.
