Students planning to take MSCH-C225 Reporting, Writing and Editing should register now for the school’s new placement exam, which will be conducted at 7 p.m. April 3 in Ballantine Hall 013.
The Media School Placement Exam is a new prerequisite for the course and is an alternative to MSCH-J170 Wordsmithing. If you do not attain a minimum score of 40 on the placement exam, you should register for wordsmithing.
You must take the exam in person. Current students who are studying abroad this spring may take the test the first day of fall classes if they have permission from their advisers.
The fall bulletin will reflect the new test requirement:
C 225 : P: Completion of the English composition requirement;
MSCH-J 170, JOUR-J 170 or Media School Placement Exam (MPE)
with a minimum score of 40
C 225 : The MPE is scheduled in BH 013 on April 3 at 7P. To
