Bolling and Goldstein finalists for top adviser honor

Two Media School staff members were finalists for the top College of Arts and Sciences honor for academic advisers.

Academic adviser Janis Bolling and senior academic adviser Kate Goldstein received multiple student nominations for the College’s 2017 Advisor of the Year award.

Students who nominated Bolling praised her thorough knowledge of course offerings and curriculum and her caring and personalized approach toward working with students. Students who nominated Goldstein appreciated her positive attitude, her problem solving skills and her gift at guiding students to find their own solutions.
